As many of you may know, Tumblr can become a little too diluted at times for what a specified and serious blog needs to be. The multi-media aspect tends to have this effect and will sometimes diminish its power and impact. This is why A Woman’s Place will now try out a new feature called (not very creatively) “Topic of the Week”. As you might guess, this means that each week’s posts will have a specialized theme that will link all of the multi-media posts together into a coherent and interesting topic set.
As this has been the first week of this blog’s life (yes, we know blogs are not actually alive), we will start start the Topic of the Week now (Friday) instead of Sunday (when we will start a new topic in the future) to make it easier and have the weekend to sort of test drive the idea. We hope you enjoy the blog’s new more specialized form and will participate in discussions and answer questions with your own opinions!
So, with no further ado:
This week’s topic will be…
